The first international camp of Rožaje mountaineers in 2016

In order to present the beauty of our mountains in the best way, the members of the hiking club "AHMICA" from Rožaj are organizing the "FIRST INTERNATIONAL MOUNTAIN CAMP - ROŽAJE 2016" which will be held from July 9 to July 17, 2016 on the beautiful and in many ways unique mountain plateau Štedim . The interest in the mentioned camp exceeded the expectations of the organizers...

In the place where the camp will be, there is no built infrastructure to maintain the hygiene of so many people (there were no showers, toilets, no drinking water, etc., because the nearest source of drinking water is 1,100 meters away, where the mountain lovers will be accommodated.

In addition to the fact that all the members of "PK AHMICA" have already done a lot in order to successfully organize such an event, which is unique both in terms of its scope and content, certain financial resources were needed, first of all, for digging a water channel and laying a length of cable 1,100 meters.

According to the President of "PK AHMICA" Ervin Gaša Kalač, this work has been successfully completed and the perennial dream of mountaineers of this club has come true, that clear, cold and clean mountain water will flow in the place where the camp will be and where the mountaineer's home is being built. This substantial work would not have been possible without the help of the Municipality of Rožaje, the Bosniak Party, the Islamic Community and the Tourist Organization from our city.

On this occasion, I would like to thank them very much on behalf of all the mountaineers of our club as well as on my own behalf.
And we members of "PK AHMICA" will do our best to present our club as well as our city in the best way and justify our famous centuries-old hospitality from Rožaj, which we are all proud of.

On this occasion, we would like to invite all people, lovers of nature and mountains to join us on July 9, 2016 at Štedim.
