Gift packages for children with disabilities and developmental difficulties

The President of the Municipality of Rožaje, Rahman Husović, visited the Day Center for Children and Youth with Disabilities and Developmental Difficulties today with his colleagues and, on behalf of the Municipality, handed gift packages to the users of that facility.

President Husović also handed out New Year's gifts to users of the services of the non-governmental organization "Let's make life easier for children with special needs".

"Children and youth with developmental disabilities and their parents face numerous obstacles every day. The municipality of Rožaje will, in accordance with its possibilities, strive to improve the quality of their lives and improve the process of social inclusion of all vulnerable groups. This is our obligation, and the obligation of society as a whole", said President Husović.

He also pointed out that he is very satisfied with the way the Day Care Center functions and praised the work of the management and employees of that institution.

Husović also assessed that local non-governmental organizations are recording good results in the field of providing services to children with developmental disabilities and disabilities and persons with disabilities.
