DISCUSSIONS ON CROSS-BORDER COOPERATION MODALITIES

The President of Rožaje Municipality received Peter Schöner, President of the European Society for Social and Political Education, and Anelina Adolps, Secretary General of the Society at their request.

Peter Schöner, president of the European Society for Socio-Political Education, pointed out that today there are 182 regions in Europe, which were formed as subjects for the establishment of cross-border cooperation, emphasizing the advantages of this kind of communication between municipalities located in different countries, which have an interest due to the area they cover. join together to improve their economic development, not neglecting cooperation and its improvement in all areas of social life.

Discussions were conducted on the topic of establishing cross-border cooperation between municipalities located in Montenegro and Serbia, because having learned from the experience of the economic development of regions in other parts of Europe, this type of cooperation would mean creating a prerequisite for faster economic and social development as a whole.
