President of the Rožaje Municipal Assembly Husein Kurtagić

At the constitutive session of the Rožaje Municipality Assembly today, Husein Kurtagić, president of OO BS, was appointed as the new president. Kurtagić was supported by 20 of the 32 councilors present.

The report of the Municipal Electoral Commission on determining the results of the elections for councilors in the Assembly of the Municipality of Rožaje, held on May 25, 2014, was also submitted, and councilor mandates were verified. MEC President Rafet Hajdarpašić informed the local parliament that 21,387 people have the right to vote in Rožaje, of which 14,623 voters exercised their right to vote.

BDZ received 509 votes, i.e. one mandate, SDP 1,992 votes and four councilors, SNP 107 votes, DPS 5,002 votes and 12 councilor seats, and BS 6,844 votes, i.e. 17 councilors.
