Rozaje at the competition "Montenegro in the rhythm of Europe"

Vice President of the Municipality of Rožaje Mirsad Azemović, with colleagues, met today with the organizers of the children's event "Montenegro in the Rhythm of Europe", the first competition of this type in Montenegro, which will be held in March 2017.
Igor Karadarević, executive director of the event, together with his associates, introduced the participants to the way this competition functions, which is supported by the Ambassadors of European countries and the European Union. Namely, children from all cities of Montenegro will prepare to present their city as well as the European country that will be assigned to them by the organization "Montenegro in the rhythm of Europe". Children who will represent their local self-government will present themselves in a foreign language, i.e. in the language of the Embassy, which will be assigned by the organization "Montenegro in the rhythm of Europe".
Welcoming the initiative of the organizers, Vice President Azemović assessed that it is a significant competition that will contribute to the recognition, development and encouragement of young talents in Montenegro and Rožaj.
The goal of the event is the promotion of interculturality, tolerance, gender equality, respect for human rights, diversity, cooperation and lifelong learning. As part of the event program, free education will be organized for children who are an integral part of the event.
The competition "Montenegro in the rhythm of Europe" is intended for primary and secondary school children, and is designed in accordance with the European Charter on the participation of young people in life at the municipal and regional level and other European documents dealing with youth issues.
