Today, President Husović met with the Croatian ambassador to Montenegro

The President of the Municipality, Rahman Husović, and the President of the Municipal Assembly, Almir Avdić, met today with the Ambassador of Croatia in Montenegro, Veselko Grubišić, who was on a working visit to Rožaj. 
In the introductory part of the meeting, Ambassador Grubišić praised the quality relations between Croatia and Montenegro, stressing that the enlargement of the European Union is high on the agenda of the Croatian presidency of the Union. 

President Husović informed Ambassador Grubišić about the current socio-economic conditions in Rožaje and presented the initiated and announced development projects in the field of tourism and improvement of road infrastructure, which are part of the Government's investments.
The President of the local parliament, Almir Avdić, introduced Ambassador Grubišić to the current ways of doing business in the town under Hajlo, with a view to the natural potentials that offer the possibility for the development of agricultural and certain forms of traditional production. He also explained that the cooperation between political entities at the local level is extremely high-quality, which, as he assessed, is a good basis for the planned development of Rožaj.

The meeting discussed possibilities for cooperation between Rožaj and Croatian cities in the field of infrastructure and environmental protection.
At the end of the conversation, the interlocutors exchanged views on current political issues in the two countries.

The meeting was also attended by the head of the President's Cabinet, Ismet Kalač.
Ambassador Grubišić previously visited the "30 Septembar" Gymnasium, where he gave a lecture to the students about the Croatian Program for the Presidency of the Council of Europe. On that occasion, he said that the Program has four main areas - Europe that develops, Europe that unites, Europe that protects and Influential Europe. Gymnasium "30. September" the ambassador chose to visit because its students showed, as he explained, a great level of knowledge and collective spirit during their participation in the EUMETRIJA quiz.
