239 competitors from 9 countries took part in the Balkan Championship.

The biggest problems in the work of the very successful Judo Club Ibar are the premises for work and the lack of financial resources. The president of the club is proud of his judokas, emphasizing that they are his best diploma and award. The main goal of the Club's work and existence is to spend the time of children before and after puberty in a useful and healthy way so that they can be formed as healthy, responsible and capable people.

Gosodin Azemović warmly thanked the best promoters of our municipality and our youth, the spotrists, emphasizing that as a young man, he highly values sports and the opportunities that young people have by investing a lot of effort in their talent.

"I am fully aware of the problems that clubs have in their work in Rožaje, but these are problems that have existed for a long time and we must find a way to solve them in the interest of young people and in the interest of the development of sports. We cannot discuss the lost past time, but now we have a chance to nurture young athletes, investing in them and their coaches. Rožaje has the potential to produce big names, but until now our athletes have achieved success without much investment and help from the state and the Municipality of Rožaje. We are also aware of the fact that our athletes leave our municipality after the age of eighteen in order to continue their education, and also because of insufficient care for them by the competent institutions." Mr. Azemović said today.

After the meeting, judokas were presented with cash prizes by the Rožaja Local Administration.
