Diaspora Days event
The newly established manifestation "Days of the Diaspora", which will be held as part of the Rožaj Cultural Summer 2015, starts at the end of the week and will last until August 9. The organizers of the manifestation, the Center for Culture, the local TO and the Center for International Cooperation and Diaspora, have planned a rich program of cultural, entertainment and tourist events during the duration of the manifestation.
According to Sulejman Kujević, director of the Center for Culture, the manifestation begins on Sunday evening, with an exhibition of paintings by Amira Nurković. An interesting program is planned for Monday, when the official opening of the event will take place.
At 4:00 p.m., on the town square, at stands specially set up for the occasion, mushrooms, medicinal plants and bee products will be exhibited, as well as Rozaj cuisine specialties and various locally made handicrafts. A parade of folklore ensembles is planned for 7:00 p.m., and the official opening of the event is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. On the same evening, beginning at 8 p.m., the folklore societies "Vrelo Ibra" from Rožaj, "Bihor" from Petnjica, "Tekstilac" from B.Polje, "Plavsko jezero" from Plav and "Duga" from Beran will perform, as well as the ethno-folkloric group "Svilnica". ". At the end of the day at 9:30 p.m., a fashion show of Feizersko-cosmetic salon Hollywood is planned.
The following day, Tuesday, a round table will be held on the topic, "Development of agricultural activities and entrepreneurship in the sectors of beekeeping, animal husbandry, agriculture, medicinal plants, mushrooms and forest fruits", while in the evening hours, starting at 9 p.m. in the town square , Halid Bešlić, a Bosnian interpreter of folk music, will perform, Kujević said.
The event continues already on Wednesday with several interesting contents.
At 8:00 a.m., a hiking trip to Hajla is planned, while in the evening, at 7:00 p.m., the Children's Ensemble of KUD "Vrelo Ibra", Dance Studio "Pahulje" as well as Maldi musical talents will perform: Edis Agić, Đulja, Šabananaj and Enver Kardović and later in the part of the program called Evening of entertainment music, Adis Murić, Saida Skenderi, Almir Salović, Emil Fetahović, Erhan Luboder, DJ White and the rock group "Što da ne" will be introduced to the visitors.
On Thursday, the promotion of the magazine "Avlija" is planned, and for Sunday, when the event ends, the Jeep photo safari, said Kujević. He said that he expects a large number of visitors, especially the many diaspora who are staying in Rožaje these days.
The sponsors of the event are the Municipality of Rožaje and the Bosniak Council in Montenegro.
