Public call for proposals for the award of the title "Honorary Citizen of Rožaj"
On the basis of Article 7 of the Decision on Public Recognitions and Awards of the Municipality of Rožaje (Official Gazette of the Republic of Montenegro - Municipal Regulations No. 034/19), the Commission for the Awarding of Titles of the Municipality of Rožaje announces:
PUBLIC CALL
for submitting a proposal for awarding the title "Honorary Citizen of Rožaj"
I Citizens of the municipality of Rožaje are invited to submit proposals for the awarding of recognition or titles "Honorary citizen of Rožaj".
II Proposal for awarding a title "Honorary citizen of Rožaj" can be submitted by: the President of the Municipality, 1/5 of the councilors in the Assembly and at least 3% citizens from the number of people registered in the voter list of the municipality of Rožaje from the last conducted elections.
III Vocation "Honorary citizen of Rožaj", can be awarded to a citizen of Montenegro, as well as a foreign citizen, who has exceptional merit and whose work represents a special and lasting contribution to the improvement of the economic and social development of Rožaj, i.e. who, through his work, scientific, artistic, political, humanitarian and other activities, is worthy for the improvement and development of the values of a democratic society, historical events and traditions, the position and reputation of Rožaj, and its status and relations with other cities in the country and abroad.
IV The proposal is submitted in writing to the President of the Municipality, and through the municipal office, with the indication - Proposal for awarding a title "Honorary citizen of Rožaj", with a detailed explanation and with the attachment of appropriate evidence that confirms the statements in the explanation.
V Applications are submitted until September 25, 2021. years.
