Diaspora provided another 100 food packages for citizens of Rožaj

During the past few days, volunteers of the Municipality and the Red Cross distributed 100 packages with food and hygiene products to households in a state of social need and whose members could not earn income during the duration of the epidemiological risk due to the restrictions on movement.
Funds for this humanitarian action were donated by the Islamic Community and Plav-Gusinje Cultural Center from New York ($2,000) and the Husović family living in the Netherlands (€1,100).
The President of the Municipality, Rahman Husović, thanked the donors who showed concern for the livelihood of the people in Rožaje during the period of time in which, due to the corona virus, daily life activities were stopped, and pointed out the importance of interpersonal solidarity, which, as he said, in those moments reached the highest level.
