10,000 euros to support female entrepreneurship

The municipality of Rožaje has allocated 10,000 euros to support female entrepreneurship in 2021.

The President of the Municipality, Rahman Husović, signed contracts with the future beneficiaries of the funds on the basis of which their business plans will be financed.

On that occasion, President Husović said that, despite the financial difficulties that are primarily a consequence of the pandemic, this year, the local government managed to support women who are ready to turn their ideas into concrete businesses.

The economic empowerment of women is one of the key factors in the progress of the community and an issue that all relevant social entities must address seriously and as a priority, assessed Husović and added that the Municipality will continue to work actively in the coming period to encourage women to join the labor market and provide additional education about starting their businesses.

Based on the established ranking list, the following received financial support for business plans: Samra Nurković Klimenta, Rafeta Zejnelagić, Ajsela Fazlić, Anida Nurković and Nisera Ramović. Each of them will invest two thousand euros in the fields of trade, crafts and service activities.
