The President of the Football Association of Montenegro, Dejan Savićević, and the President of the Municipality of Rožaje, Rahman Husović, signed a contract on the construction and equipping of an auxiliary facility at the Banžovo brdo stadium today at the House of Football in Podgorica.
The municipality of Rožaje turned to the Football Association of Montenegro for a request for financial assistance in order to realize the project of building and equipping an auxiliary facility at the Banžovo brdo stadium, which will be used by all categories of FC "Ibar" for the purposes of maintaining the training process and playing matches. According to the proposed project, the facility will contain dressing rooms for teams and officials, as well as all other supporting facilities necessary for playing matches and optimal implementation of the training process of all age categories of FC "Ibar".
President Savićević expressed his satisfaction that Rožaje, on the initiative of the local self-government, will receive new content that will significantly improve the existing infrastructure.
- The improvement of football infrastructure in the north of Montenegro is in the focus of the Association's activities, so after the implementation of a certain number of projects in other cities, the time has come to work on improving the conditions for playing football in Rožaje. The initiative of the Municipality of Rožaje for the construction of an auxiliary facility was accepted by the Football Association with pleasure, so we will proceed with the realization of this project in accordance with the possibilities and joint forces. I believe that very soon FK "Ibar" and all its members, from juniors to seniors, will receive adequate conditions for carrying out the training process and playing matches at all levels of the competition, said President Savićević.
The President of the Municipality of Rožaje Rahman Husović praised the Football Association for accepting the initiative and helping in the efforts of the local self-government to improve the conditions for playing sports.
- I want to thank the Football Association of Montenegro for the quick reaction and acceptance of the initiative for the construction of an auxiliary facility at the Banžovo brdo stadium. By participating in the implementation of this project, the Association has once again shown its commitment to the development of football and the improvement of infrastructure in the north of our country. I am happy that in the near future Rožaj footballers will have significantly better working conditions and, I am sure, this will result in the success of all age categories of the club. The Municipality of Rožaje has created all the necessary prerequisites for the realization of this project and will invest the maximum of possibilities in order to realize it in the shortest period of time, said the President of the Municipality of Rožaje Rahman Husović.
The Football Association and the Municipality of Rožaje have formed a joint commission that will carry out all necessary procedures and actions for the implementation of the project for the construction of an auxiliary facility at the Banžovo brdo stadium.
