In accordance with the status of an observer country, Montenegro has been invited by the International Organization for Francophonie (MOF) to participate in the VII Games of Francophonie, which will be held in Nice (France) from 6-15. September 2013.

Based on the propositions determined by the International Committee of the Games of Francophonie (CIJF) in cooperation with the Directorate for French Language, Cultural and Linguistic Diversity - CIJF, the Ministry of Culture of Montenegro invites interested artists to apply for a competition for participation in the VII Games of Francophonie, which will next gather 3,000 young athletes, artists and creators from 75 member states or observers of the International Organization of La Francophonie.

Applications refer to two disciplines: painting and photography, which are divided into two segments: exhibition (works created specifically for the Games will be part of a collective exhibition in Nice) and workshop (works created within the workshop, during the Games).

The competition is intended for authors who are citizens of Montenegro, not younger than 18, nor older than 35, if they acquired citizenship at least 6 months before the start of the Games.

The pre-selection of candidates is carried out by the National Commission of Montenegro. Consent to the pre-selection, which is carried out by the National Commission of Montenegro, is given by representatives of the International Committee of the Games of Francophonie (CIJF) and the Directorate for the French Language, Cultural and Linguistic Diversity.

The final decision on the award winners at the Francophonie Games is made by a committee made up of 5 members of different nationalities, from the milieu of visual arts, and the selection criteria refer to all elements of the work, with an emphasis on creativity, composition, coherence of expression and technical mastery of the artist.

The National Committee of the Games of Francophonie (CNJF) will provide insurance for the work from the moment of arrival at the venue of the Games until departure, the Ministry of Culture will cover the costs of transport and work insurance during transport.
The organizer (International Organization for Francophonie) covers the costs of accommodation and food for the participants, while the Ministry of Culture will provide travel and insurance costs for the Montenegrin representatives.
