KBK Univerzum from Rožaja is the champion of the Balkans

Following the example of large European metropolises, Rožaje hosted a kick box spectacle on Saturday evening in the beautiful surroundings of the magnificent Aldi Hotel, which was a great host.

The two best teams from Serbia, KBK NIŠ and CG Univerzum Rožaje, competed against each other. The spectacle was opened by the president of the municipality of Rožaje, Ejup Nurković, who expressed his satisfaction that the spectacle is taking place in Rožaje and wished the competitors success with a fair and sporting competition, which it was.

In the opening fight in the cadet category, visiting competitor Nikola Lazarević was better and defeated the local fighter Kadri Šabanaj by stoppage in the second round.

In the first of 6 official fights, in the category up to 57 kg, by the judges' decision, 2:1, the local competitor Samed Demić won, who celebrated in a duel against Saša Lalić.

In the category up to 63.5 kg, Džemal Salihović won by unanimous decision of the judges 3/0, who was better than Danilo Ratkić.

Nedžad Hot was better than Milan Vesković (2:1)

In the category up to 71 kg. by unanimous decision (3:0) Rijad Hodzic was better than the competitor from Nis, Vuk Stojanovic.

In two perhaps the best fights, Dejvid Kajević was better than Vukašin Obradović 3:0.

Rozaj bomber Mensur Murić put an end to the 100% success of Rozaj competitors, who brought the audience to their feet with a combination of effective low kicks and sent Lazar Stojanović to the floor in the -91kg category with a knockout in the second round.

With a total score of 6:0, the big cup from the hands of the President of the Municipality of Rožaje, Ejup Nurković, went to the captain of the home team, Mensur Murić. Mediator of the spectacle was journalist Ferid Kujević, who maintained a "hot" atmosphere throughout the evening. The spectacle was attended by 1,500 spectators, the matches were led by the international referee from Montenegro, Dragan Jovetić, and the successful organizers were the Municipality of Rožaje, Aldi Hotel, Kick Box Club Univerzum, as well as numerous sponsors.
