Rijad Hod\u017ei\u0107, kickboxer of Ro\u017eaj club Univerzum, who won the title of professional champion of Europe, in the WKU federation, today visited the MUNICIPALITY of Ro\u017eaj with the coach of kickboxing club "Univerzum" from Ro\u017eaj, Mersad Mukovi\u0107, where they were received by the vice president of the municipality, Idriz Nurkovi\u0107.<\/p>\n
He congratulated the young fighter Hod\u017ei\u0107 on achieving an enviable result, which required exceptional work and great sacrifices. It can be safely said that Riyad's success is an example for both Ro\u017eaje and Montenegro. Another fact is in favor of our fighter, and that is that at 18 years old, he is the youngest kickboxer in Montenegro.<\/p>\n
Rijad Hod\u017ei\u0107, who won the gold medal at the junior swiping championship in 2014, celebrated with the judges' decision on points. Let us remind you that in Ro\u017eaje, in the match for the championship belt in the category over 91 kilograms - low kick discipline, he defeated the Greek Vasilis Karagianidis.<\/p>\n
It is also worth emphasizing that Hod\u017ei\u0107 is the second "Universe" fighter with a championship belt, after Damir Mukovi\u0107, who won European and world championship titles in the WKU federation.<\/p>\n
Mersad Mukovi\u0107, coach of "Univerzum", said that such sports results should be better monitored and rewarded. Because it should be borne in mind that training for one fight lasts for three months, two training sessions every day, which, in addition to other things, also requires large financial investments. Among other things, Mukovi\u0107 says that he is aware of the financial situation in which our municipality is, but that with an additional rebalancing of the budget, the possibility of helping this sport should be found because the results are evident.<\/p>\n
Vice President Nurkovi\u0107 said that the Local Government will make an extra effort to further support such and similar successes and thus promote a healthy life and sports in general.<\/p>\n
