On December 27, 2014, the President of the Municipality of Ro\u017eaje, Ejup Nurkovi\u0107, was present with his colleagues, officials of the Municipality of Ro\u017eaje, directors of public institutions and interested citizens at the special ceremony held on the occasion of the first decade of the Association of Children with Special Needs in the Ro\u017eaje Cultural Center.<\/b><\/div>\n

Summarizing the results of the association's existence so far, Let's make life easier for children with special needs, the president of the association, Vezira \u0106osovi\u0107, pointed out that it was very difficult for her at the beginning, but with great will and love, she made it possible for this problem to be heard in Ro\u017eaje as well.<\/b><\/div>\n

"In our Association there are children who have speech problems, as well as children with a more severe form of the disease, even the most severe cases of cerebral palsy. There are currently about 100 children living in the Association, and over the past 10 years, more than a thousand of them have passed away. We work in fairly modest conditions, but with the help of good people, who were always abundant in Ro\u017eaje, we have managed to provide a stay at sea with companions for the little ones in the last 6 years. For most, it was the first time they left their municipality. We managed to do a lot of creative workshops, we visited Plav Lake and other natural beauties of Montenegro. The biggest disadvantage for this Association is the absence of a Day Care Center that would ease the situation, both for children and their parents. Although we work in modest conditions, we manage to make the children smile, at least for a short time. A speech therapist, defectologist and physiotherapist are permanently staying in our Association. I also owe a special thanks to Dragoslava Mika \u0110oki\u0107, a speech therapist from Beran, who has been with us and by our side since the beginning," said the President of the Association, Vezira \u0106osovi\u0107.<\/b><\/div>\n

At the ceremony, children from the Association presented themselves with appropriate recitations, while the Drama Section of the Gymnasium "30. September" in the organization of professor Mirsada \u0160aboti\u0107, performed the play Medo Brundo specially intended for them. President of the Municipality of Ro\u017eaje, Ejup Nurkovi\u0107 pointed out that the Association will always have selfless collaborators in him and his associates, and discussions with the competent Ministry will be intensified about the start of the construction of the Day Care Center in Ro\u017eaje as well. The deserving were awarded Certificates of Appreciation and Placards, while the Golden Certificate of Appreciation was given to a well-known donor from Ro\u017eaj on temporary work in Luxembourg, Remzo Cami\u0107, who through his contacts has been with this Association countless times in these 10 years<\/b><\/b>.<\/b><\/div>\n
