The President of the Municipality of Ro\u017eaje, Ejup Nurkovi\u0107, officially visited Istanbul (December 12-15, 2014), where he met with the President of the Municipality of Zeytinburnu, Mr. Murat Ayd\u0131n, and businessmen from the association Bosna-Sancak in the Municipality. He also participated in several economic and cultural meetings, which were attended by the President of the Republic of Turkey, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdo\u011fan, the Vice President of the Government of the Republic of Turkey, Mr. Prof. Ph.D. Numan Kurtulmus; Officials from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo and other countries of the region and Europe also participated in the meetings.<\/p>\n

The President of the Municipality of Zeytinburnu, Mr. Murat Ayd\u0131n, will pay a visit to Montenegro and the Municipality of Ro\u017eaje in April 2015, in order to establish more intensive cooperation, and he promised to donate a car to the Municipality of Ro\u017eaje for the needs of the utility company for street maintenance, as well as a donation for the financing of a park with furniture.<\/p>\n

The Municipality of Ro\u017eaje will be visited by the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey in Montenegro Mehmet Nijaz Tanilir with businessmen from Istanbul and other cities during December 2014, when further business and economic cooperation will be specified.<\/p>\n

In an earlier conversation with His Excellency Mehmet Nijazi Tanilir, the idea arose that the Municipality of Ro\u017eaje should be twinned with the Municipality of Kutahija, which has 590,496 inhabitants according to the 2012 census. After the verification of fraternity in the municipal assemblies, official visits of the municipal delegations will be organized, where further business, economic and cultural cooperation will be established.<\/p>\n

In addition to the working visits, the President of the Municipality of Ro\u017eaje with a delegation of neighboring countries visited an important historical and cultural place in Turkey - \u00c7anakkale. \u00c7anakkale is a particularly important place for the Turks and the Republic of Turkey, because the battles between the Ottomans and the Allies took place there, where the Allies were defeated in 1915, with a large number of Ottoman casualties, and the battle was led by Kemal Ataturk.<\/p>\n

The expenses of travel and hotel accommodation were borne by businessmen of Turkish companies.<\/p>\n\n\t\t
