The President of the Municipality Ejup Nurkovi\u0107 and the President of the Municipal Assembly Husein Kurtagi\u0107 visited the NGO "Let's make life easier for children with special needs"<\/p>\n

The director of this NGO, Vezira \u0106osovi\u0107, thanked for the visit and informed President Nurkovi\u0107 about the activities carried out by her organization as well as the future projects they plan to implement. Special emphasis is placed on the difficult financial situation and the circumstances in which they work.<\/p>\n

- As you know, Ro\u017eaje does not have a day center for developmentally disabled children, and we founded this organization to help children and their parents as much as possible in their daily activities. There are many problems that we face. We need to provide professional staff to work with these children every month, there is also the problem of paying the monthly rent and other overheads that we have to pay for the center to work - \u0106osovi\u0107 emphasized.<\/p>\n

President Nurkovi\u0107 pointed out that the organization will have a partner in the local administration, and on that occasion he promised concrete help.<\/p>\n

- The municipality will financially support the work of this center because helping in such cases is practically an obligation of all of us. We will immediately pay the funds for one-time assistance and we will help in expanding the space or paying for the existing space. I hereby invite all citizens who are able to donate part of the funds to facilitate the work of this center. The users of this center are children who are in an unenviable situation and who are in dire need of help to ease the suffering of themselves and their parents.<\/p>\n

Also, I inform you that the municipality has agreed with the Government of Montenegro on the construction of day centers for children with special needs. The start of the works is planned for September 2014 - said Nurkovi\u0107<\/p>\n
